“I’m going going back back to Cali”. Listening to the infamous Notorious B.I.G. song on the plane just seems like a must when flying into LA for some reason (even on a work trip). Regardless of the sole purpose of my visit the fact is, it was a overdue trip to SoCal! have not been back here for a few years. Lets check the stats.. I have 7 days here, its sunny, smoke is legal, and I have to hit the beach (these are necessities when in California). My frat brother came to scoop from LAX about 20min after landing to get my transportation for the week. Spoiler Alert!!! I intended to get a vehicle with navigation and GPS because I am not educated on Cali driving rules (hands free devices etc.) so I put in for a full size Nissan Maxima or Altima, to my surprise the attendant tells me “neither of those is available unfortunately, but we do have this BMW available” I don’t think I have ever taken keys from someone so fast in my life. So yea Im doing LA the right way in a drop top BMW 430Ci for the week. I am going to skip all of the work endeavors but my reason for the visit was for system commissioning support on an engineering project for work, everything went so well that fortunately the work portion of the trip was cut short in 4 days and I was told to “go enjoy LA” by my coworker Friday afternoon so the last 3 days turned into vacation time.
LA is an exciting place to go everyone should experience it. At LEAST once
